Abstract: 

The polite listener In England stares at the speaker attentively and blinks his eyes occasionally as a sign of interest. That eye-blink says nothing to Americans, who expect the listener to nod or to murmur something such as "mm - hmm”. And in some parts of  Far East, it is impolite to look at the other person at all during conversation.It is often argued that, in teaching foreign languages, culture and language are interwoven in a way that it is not possible to present language without its culture. However, until a new method of teaching language, called communicative approach, which is sociolinguistically oriented, had not come into existence, this belief was not used to be observed in textbooks and language classes. This method intends to create situations in the classroom in which foreign language can be used as naturally and authentically as the native speakers of target language use it for communicative purposes.The problem of teaching culture, nevertheless, does not end here. Nowadays, foreign languages are taught with different and varied objectives. Is it necessary for all foreign language learners to get familiar with the culture of foreign language they are supposed to learn? As Schumann (1984) claims, is it true that second language learning is impossible, unless one gives up his/her own native culture and adopts the culture of foreign language community? What are some relevant issues regarding teaching English in Iran? These are actually some basic questions raised in this article. Whereas definite answers are not necessarily provided in this paper, some areas of research related to culture, and teaching foreign language are put forward.

Abstract: 

With the global outbreak of COVID-19, there was an immediate shutdown of face-to-face classes and a sudden shift to online learning. While remote learning was a challenge for instructors, the the inefficiency of classes and the lack of participation of learnershad become a bigger challenge. Therefore, to find innovative methods for teaching and assessment of students was compeletly felt. The teaching approaches used in virtual education were mainly based on inactive methods that limited the interaction between the teacher and the learner. The infrastructure problems of the Internet and online platforms aggravated this problem even more. In this study, we investigate the effectiveness of an active teaching method in virtual education. The results showed that despite the limitations, the use of the active learning method led to more participation of learners and more educational efficiency than the lecture method.

Deep-sea vessels use various navigational aids like AIS (automatic identification system), ECDIS (electronic chart display and information system), radar, GPS (global positioning system), and etc. vessels use AIS to communicate their navigational characteristics, destinations, and load information. Such data are very helpful for vessel officers; therefore, AIS can be used for communicating the name and position of the vessel as well as navigational signs in the port area. So, this system is very helpful in improving the quality of pilotage as well as improving the safety of navigation in canals like Khur Musa.

Abstract: 

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to predict students' satisfaction with online teaching based on the virtual teaching competence of Chabahar International University professors, which is a descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of the present study consists of all students of Chabahar International University, 150 of whom were selected by simple random sampling. In order to collect research information, two questionnaires of satisfaction and quality in an online course Sebastianli et al. (2015) with a reliability of 0. 70 and the qualifications of Darabi et al. (2006) with a reliability of 0. 80 have been used. The results of the regression test in order to examine the research hypotheses show that the variable of virtual teaching competencies has the ability to predict the variable of students' satisfaction by 0. 301. Also, the variables of virtual teaching competencies are the ability to predict the content and structure of the online teaching course, the difficulty of the online teaching course, teacher-student and student-student interactions in the online teaching course and facilitator support in the online teaching course by 0. 278, respectively., 0. 254, 0. 377 and 0. 301. According to the obtained results, it can be concluded that the virtual teaching competencies of Chabahar International University professors can facilitate students' ability to predict online teaching in terms of content and structure, course difficulty, teacher-student and student-student interactions and support. In other words, professors 'virtual teaching competencies can affect students' satisfaction in online teaching. Abstract: 

Background: Following the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person education has gradually resumed, while virtual education has emerged as more than just a temporary solution during quarantine. Due to generational changes and the characteristics of artificial intelligence Generation learners, universities are increasingly inclined to utilize virtual education. This study aimed to explore their experiences with virtual clinical teaching.Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore the quality of the Virtual education in clinical setting for medical students.Methods: We used a qualitative study approach. Utilizing data from semi-structured interviews with 14 clinical teachers in their virtual teaching. Lincoln and Guba's approach was used to determine data trustworthiness.Results: Through the analysis of the collected data, one key theme consistently emerged across the findings, the "Complementing role of clinical education," there were two categories of clinical teaching facilitators and virtual clinical teaching barriers.Conclusion: Virtual clinical education is a valuable supplement for medical learning endeavors, augmenting the quality of instruction and assimilation within this discipline.
